How often has someone advised you to have Sabr? In fact how often have you given the same advice to someone else?
The reality is, many of us have misunderstood the concept of sabr as just having patience, there’s much more to it than this. For instance, did you know that some scholars believe sabr is the root to all good manners?!
When it’s done properly, having sabr during a difficult situation is genuinely one of the best things that you can do. Join Ustadh Asim Khan for the launch of his new book The Simple Seerah, at the event Ustadh will be giving advice and tips on how to establish Sabr in your life directly from the life of the Prophet (saw) as an example.
We are confident that after attending this event you will be better equipped to face the challenges that Allāh has decreed to come your way; you’ll have a better understanding of Sabr and how to effectively implement it into your life. Best of all, the next time someone says “have sabr” you’ll know what that truly means.
